Why Israel is after my son
Fouad Sultani in The Electronic Intifada:
The persecution of Palestinian citizens inside Israel is not a new phenomenon. Yet, for me, this time it hit home. The Israeli intelligence agency Shabak, also known as the Shin Bet, accuses my son Rawi Sultani of "contact with a foreign agent" and "delivering information to the enemy." Both are grave security offenses in Israeli law. These and similar offenses were used against many Palestinian leaders and activists such as Azmi Bishara of the National Democratic Assembly (NDA), Raed Salah of the Islamic Movement and Muhammad Kanaaneh of Sons of the Land. At times, even Jewish political activists sympathetic to Palestinians like Tali Fahima are similarly accused.
Rawi, a 23-year-old law student and a political activist of the NDA, is being charged in the district court of Petach Tikva with having contact with Hizballah members in order to deliver information on the whereabouts of the Israeli army's chief of staff.

"According to the indictment issued by the Central District Prosecution, initial contact between Sultani and a Hezbollah operative was made when Sultani attended a youth camp in Morocco in August 2008. While there, he befriended Salman Harb, a Lebanese youth active in Hezbollah. During their meeting, Sultani told the operative that he works out at the same gym as the IDF chief of staff. At this stage, he was ... asked to stay in contact with the Hezbollah youth.
Later, the Hezbollah operative wrote to Sultani to invite him to Poland. Sultani left for Poland in December, where he met with the operative's brother, Sami Harb.
So Sultani tried to help assassinate the Israeli Chief of Staff. Does that count as legitimate on 3QD?

No; the Chief of Staff is Jewish.

Sound familiar? Try "lending material support to terrorists" for comparable legal abuse here (to wit housing socks in a suitcase in one's apartment). If the accused is arabic the commenters above would see the conspiracy.

When a person travels abroad twice to meet agents of a hostile terror organization, that is a very active way of "lending material support".
Erich, your ignorance shows when you use the word 'arabic', the name of a language, as an adjective for a human being. By the way, two Jewish Israelis have also been arrested lately for trying to sell information over the Internet to Hezbollah , for money.
