Morgan, no offense but I really do not see why Sarah Silverman, with all her wit, charm and allure, needs to be on Q3D. This is obviously something _you_ like, but shouldn't this place be also about what you think _we_ want to see?

Welcome to Morgan's petri dish.

Please continue to put up anything you wish for any reason you wish. If you put up too many things one of us doesn't want to see, we can go elsewhere, or just not watch/read. If you start forcing us to watch things, then we'll have a problem! (But I VERY much did want to see this, so thanks!)
And isn't wit, charm, and allure a good reason for putting something on here? Wouldn't 2 of those 3 be exactly why, say, you would post something by Oscar Wilde??

I wasn't really serious when I called Silverman witty, charming and alluring. Silverman, really? Anyway, this isn't a comparative analysis of Wilde and Silverman, so I'll leave it at that. I get your point: you wanted to see that. And obviously, I will leave soon as 3QD becomes a link-dump of pop-culture on youtube. I have DRB for that.

I agree with H. Pop culture videos like this are linked to from thousands of sites all the time. Many of us go to 3QD for a particular type of intellectual content that wouldn't be found on a comedy central ad or in emails from annoying co-workers. Diluting the more distinctive content causes this site to lose its appeal.

This wasn't funny. I agree it doesn't really fit in on this site. I have no reasons to back this up, just intuition.
"I couldn't tear myself
away from 3 Quarks Daily, to the point of neglecting my work. Congratulations on
this superb site."—Steven
Pinker, Johnstone Professor of Psychology, Harvard University.
"I have placed 3 Quarks Daily at the head of my list of web bookmarks."—Richard
Dawkins, Charles Simonyi Professor of the Public Understanding of Science at Oxford University.
"Just wanted you to know I’m one of many who reads and enjoys 3 Quarks....almost daily."—David Byrne, musician, former lead-singer of the Talking Heads, artist, intellectual.
