Obama, Palin, and the Chess Game

Glenn Loury hit the nail on the head with his observation that "the necessity to utter the sentence [about Obama being more qualified than Palin] diminishes Obama." So true, and a brilliant chess move.

Nevertheless, Obama continues to be way over 270 in all the electoral vote projections I've seen. Of course, the projections may not pay out in the end, but the EV is the name of the game.
