The contest seems absurd to me. Glenn, for example, is a very nice guy but posts conservative items, over and over, and fully supports the Bush war in Iraq. Now, if one does not accept these positions, then how can he be "best" for you? He may be best for those who value conservative issues. Additionally, there is no comments allowed at his site.
As for your friend, I don't know her site and it is not given here but instead we are given a chance to vote in her behalf.
